Hiper-realism or realism is a style of painting in which the artist should follow a series of pictorial rules, so that the final results become a painting with quality. The perspective, the shadow/light contrasts and the mixing the colours in the palette, are some important aspects to take into account when you are painting realistically. The challenge in this series once again had to do with the texture of the material, concretely with the texture of the fruit. When using texture as a starting point, different fruit peels and the effect of the transparency of the plastic on the fruit were combined on the same canvas.
